Biała Podlaska, in eastern Poland near the Belarus border, has city buses run by MZK Biała Podlaska (Miejski Zakład Komunikacyjny). The official price list is annex 1 to city council resolution IX/60/24 of 25 October 2024 and applies from 1 January 2025. Prices below were checked on 20 October 2026 on mzkbp.pl.

Zones

The tariff has zones S1 and S2, and a combined S1+S2 price for journeys that cross both. Single tickets in S1 or S2 alone cost the same, and the combined ticket costs more.

Single tickets

  • Paper single ticket, from sales points, valid for unlimited transfers within 30 minutes of validation or one ride along the whole route: PLN 3.20 normal, PLN 1.60 reduced in S1 or S2; PLN 5.60 and PLN 2.80 in S1+S2
  • 60-minute ticket, sold only on the bus: PLN 6.00 normal, PLN 3.00 reduced in S1 or S2; PLN 8.00 and PLN 4.00 in S1+S2
  • 24-hour paper ticket from sales points: PLN 14.00 normal, PLN 7.00 reduced for all zones

Electronic ticket: cheaper rides

The electronic card gives lower single-ride prices. A ride of up to six stops costs PLN 2.40 normal and PLN 1.20 reduced in S1 or S2 (PLN 4.40 and PLN 2.20 in S1+S2). A longer ride costs PLN 3.00 normal and PLN 1.50 reduced (PLN 5.20 and PLN 2.60 in S1+S2), with unlimited transfers for 30 minutes after you tap in.

The rule to remember: tap out when you leave the bus. If you forget to log out of the electronic purse, the system charges the fare for a ride to the end of the route, and for the up-to-six-stops fare it charges the price of a longer ride without the stop discount.
