Bydgoszcz public transport tickets and prices 2026: ZDMiKP
Short answer: In Bydgoszcz a single ticket is 3.80 PLN and a 20-minute ticket 3.00 PLN, per the 1 February 2025 price list. A 30-day network ticket on the city card is 112 PLN.
About these prices
This guide uses the official ZDMiKP Bydgoszcz price list that took effect on 1 February 2025, which the city publishes as the current list "with later amendments", and the city transport office pages read on 17 October 2026. We did not find a newer list, but check the ticket machine or the app before you buy a long ticket. All prices are in PLN.
Single and time tickets
These are bearer tickets, which means anyone can use them. Zone I covers all lines within the city limits of Bydgoszcz, plus the lines to the Belma stop and the airport stop, and one night line through Lisi Ogon. Zone II covers lines through neighbouring municipalities that cooperate with the city.
Normal and reduced prices, per the 1 February 2025 price list:
single ticket, valid for one ride on day and night lines, zones I and II: 3.80 and 1.90;
20-minute ticket, day and night lines, zones I and II: 3.00 and 1.50;
1-hour ticket, zone I: 4.80 and 2.40;
24-hour ticket, zones I and II: 12.00 and 6.00;
5-day ticket, zones I and II: 34.00 and 17.00;
weekend ticket, valid from 12:00 on Friday to 6:00 on Monday, zones I and II: 20.00 and 10.00.
The price list also has a one-day family ticket for one or both parents with at least one child aged 4 to 16, zone I only, at 17.00 on day lines. The weekend family ticket is 34.00. The family ticket is sold in ticket machines, in the phone ticket system and in BKM terminals.
Periodic tickets with the city card
Personal periodic tickets are loaded on the Bydgoska Karta Miejska (BKM), according to the city transport office. The network ticket for day and night lines costs, for 30 days or a calendar month:
zone I: 112.00 normal, 56.00 with a 50 percent discount, 28.00 with a 75 percent discount;
zones I and II: 148.00 normal, 74.00 and 37.00.
Other personal tickets from the list:
14 days, day lines, zone I: 80.00 normal and 40.00 reduced;
14 days, day and night lines, zones I and II: 92.00 and 46.00;
90 days, day and night lines, zone I: 314.00 and 157.00;
single line ticket, zone I, 30 days: 90.00 normal.
The 75 percent discount is for children and young people from families with three dependent children, with a valid Bydgoska Karta Rodzinna 3+, according to the older version of the price page. A bearer 30-day ticket for day and night lines, zones I and II, costs 172.00. A 7-day bearer ticket costs 51.60 and a 14-day one costs 94.60.

Children and students
The price list sets these cheap tickets:
network ticket for a preschooler, from age 4 to 30 September of the year the child turns 7, with a Karta Bydgoskiego Malucha: 10.00 a month and 100.00 for a year, for a child living in Bydgoszcz or in listed neighbouring municipalities;
pupil ticket for pupils living in Bydgoszcz, 10.00 a month and 100.00 for a year;
semester tickets for pupils: 250.00 for day lines, 262.00 for day and night lines in zone I and 342.00 in zones I and II;
semester ticket for university students, valid 140 days: 239.00 for zone I and 319.00 for zones I and II.
According to the Bydgoszcz transport office (1 October 2026), the city council extended pupil eligibility by a year. Pupils living in Bydgoszcz can now use the pupil ticket until 30 September of the year they turn 21. The same one-year extension applies to free travel for pupils with a school scholarship granted by the mayor and for children from a local care home. The earlier limit was 20.
