Cieszyn, a border town in Silesia on the Olza river facing Český Těšín, has city buses run by ZGK Cieszyn across four fare zones: Cieszyn-Cieszyn, Cieszyn-Pogwizdów, Cieszyn-Kaczyce and Pogwizdów-Kaczyce. Single tickets
The cheapest single is the e-bilet, bought from the electronic wallet on the Cieszyn City Card, with a contactless payment card or phone in the on-board validator, or in the mobile app: PLN 3.60 normal and PLN 1.80 reduced in the Cieszyn-Cieszyn zone. The same ticket costs PLN 5.00 to Cieszyn-Pogwizdów, PLN 5.40 to Cieszyn-Kaczyce and PLN 3.60 on the Pogwizdów-Kaczyce route.
A paper single bought from the driver costs PLN 5.00 normal and PLN 2.50 reduced in the city zone, and a day ticket from the driver costs PLN 12.00 and PLN 6.00. A baggage ticket costs PLN 4.00.
With the e-bilet there is a daily cap: once your registered rides reach PLN 11.00 normal or PLN 5.50 reduced in the city zone, no further charge is taken that day, as long as you register both boarding and leaving the bus. A transfer to a second bus within 20 minutes of registering your exit costs only the price difference.
