Gdynia public transport tickets and prices 2026: ZKM and metropolitan
Short answer: In Gdynia a named monthly ticket for ordinary and night lines is 103 PLN, and a metropolitan phone ticket valid in Gdańsk too is 4.80 PLN a ride. Monthly tickets are only in System FALA.

Two ticket families in Gdynia
Gdynia has its own buses and trolleybuses run by ZKM Gdynia (the city transport authority), and it is part of the Pomeranian metropolitan system MZKZG. That system links Gdynia, Gdańsk, Sopot and neighbouring towns, and its tickets are valid on ZTM Gdańsk, ZKM Gdynia and MZK Wejherowo vehicles. This guide uses the official ZKM Gdynia tariff pages, which were updated on 29 July 2026 (ZKM) and 30 December 2025 (metropolitan tickets), read on 17 October 2026. ZKM says its price tables apply from 3 April 2023, with later amendments, the latest listed being a mayor's order of 16 June 2026. Prices can change, so check the app before you buy.
One-ride and day tickets for Gdynia only
According to ZKM Gdynia, these tickets are valid on ordinary, express and night lines:
24-hour ticket: 22.00 PLN normal, 11.00 PLN reduced.
ZKM's page also lists a one-ride ticket and a reduced price of 2.40 PLN, but its text is not clear on which normal price goes with which ticket. So check the one-ride and 75-minute prices in the System FALA app or on the ZKM tariff page. Luggage, a pram, a wheelchair, a bike, skis and pets travel free.
You can buy these tickets in the System FALA app, at customer service offices and sales points, and in buses and trolleybuses. In vehicles you can pay without cash on the System FALA devices, or pay cash to the driver for a reduced-fare pair of tickets, called a karnet.
Metropolitan tickets (MZKZG)
If you travel between Gdynia, Gdańsk and nearby towns, buy a metropolitan ticket. Prices from the ZKM page, normal fare unless stated:
one ride, phone ticket: 4.80, reduced 2.40;
one ride, paper ticket: 5.20, reduced 2.60;
75 minutes, phone ticket: 6.00;
24 hours, city transport only: 24.00;
72 hours, city transport only: 48.00.
There are also 24-hour and 72-hour tickets that include the SKM and POLREGIO trains. The 72-hour ticket for all organisers and trains costs 68.00 PLN. The metropolitan phone tickets can be bought in System FALA, GoPay, jakdojade.pl, moBILET, mPay, SkyCash or zbiletem.pl. You need to register in your chosen system first.
Monthly and semester tickets
Periodic tickets from ZKM Gdynia exist only in electronic form, in System FALA. They are tied to a passenger account, and during a check you can show the FALA app, a plastic FALA card, or a payment card linked to the account. ZKM says it stopped issuing the old electronic cards on 4 August 2025.
