Krosno Public Transport 2026: MKS Tickets PLN 4, Monthly PLN 106
What to know: In Krosno an electronic single bus ticket costs PLN 4.00, a paper one PLN 4.60, a day ticket PLN 11 and a monthly ticket for all city lines PLN 106 (reduced fares are half). Prices have applied since 1 February 2025.
Krosno, the Podkarpackie town known for its glass tradition and a well-kept market square, runs city buses through MKS Krosno (Miejska Komunikacja Samochodowa). The official MKS price list has applied since 1 February 2025, and the ticket page names the later agreement with Wojaszówka commune of 10 February 2026 among its legal bases. Prices below were checked on 20 October 2026 against the MKS page and the e-ticket price table.
City tickets
Within the city of Krosno the price depends on the ticket type and on whether you buy it with the city card (Krośnieńska Karta Miejska, KKM) or on paper:
- 20-minute time ticket: PLN 3.60 normal, PLN 1.80 reduced
- Single electronic ticket (electronic purse on the KKM card): PLN 4.00 normal, PLN 2.00 reduced
- Single paper ticket, bought on the bus or at sales points: PLN 4.60 normal, PLN 2.30 reduced
- Carnet of 10 rides: PLN 41.00 normal, PLN 20.50 reduced
- 90-minute time ticket: PLN 6.40 normal, PLN 3.20 reduced
- Day ticket: PLN 11.00 normal, PLN 6.50 reduced
- Weekend ticket for all lines: PLN 15.00 normal, PLN 10.00 reduced
Visitors with the Krosno Tourist Card (Krośnieńska Karta Turysty) can buy a day ticket for PLN 5.50. A "local government" reduced fare also exists for people entitled to it under city rules, for example PLN 1.45 for an electronic single ticket.
Monthly tickets
A monthly ticket for all city lines costs PLN 106 normal and PLN 59 reduced. The bearer version, which anyone can use, costs PLN 124. The page also lists a monthly ticket at PLN 35 for a child who travels to the preschool or primary school nearest their home.

Suburban zones
Lines beyond the city boundary use four suburban zones. In one suburban zone a single ticket costs PLN 4.40 normal and a monthly ticket PLN 96. Between Krosno and the first suburban zone, or crossing one zone boundary, a single ticket costs PLN 5.20 and a monthly ticket PLN 122. To the second zone the single ticket is PLN 5.20 and the monthly PLN 127. To the third zone a single ticket costs PLN 5.60 and a monthly ticket PLN 130, and to the fourth zone a single ticket costs PLN 5.60 and a monthly ticket PLN 134.
A monthly ticket for the whole network is PLN 160 normal and PLN 80 reduced, or PLN 175 as a bearer ticket.
How to buy
The KKM card carries electronic tickets, including single tickets in the electronic purse, monthly tickets and free tickets. MKS also runs an e-ticket price table online at ebilet.mks-krosno.pl. A reduced ticket is valid only for the passenger entitled to it, and the page forbids combining tickets that include reduced ones.
Tips for newcomers
Pick the electronic purse over paper if you ride often, because every single ride is PLN 0.60 cheaper. If you ride only on a weekend, the weekend ticket at PLN 15 pays off after four rides. Monthly passes make sense from about 27 normal electronic rides.
