Nowy Sącz Public Transport 2026: MPK Tickets PLN 4, Monthly PLN 120
What to know: In Nowy Sącz a single MPK bus ticket in the city zone costs PLN 4.00, a one-day ticket PLN 15 and a normal monthly ticket PLN 120. Prices come from the MPK price list in force since 1 December 2022.
Nowy Sącz in Lesser Poland has a city bus network run by MPK Nowy Sącz, with a city zone (zone 0) and suburban zones around it. The fares below come from the official MPK price list, which gives the base as city council resolution LXXI/873/2022 and prices in force from 1 December 2022. Single tickets and carnets
In the city zone 0 a single ticket costs PLN 4.00 and a 10-ride carnet PLN 36.00. Going into suburban zone 1 (or from zone 1 to zone 2) costs PLN 4.80, and zone 2 costs PLN 5.90. A ticket valid inside one suburban commune zone costs PLN 3.00.
For the whole network there are transfer tickets: PLN 7.00 for 60 minutes and PLN 12.60 for four hours, valid from the moment of purchase regardless of how many times you change.
Cheaper with the electronic card
Users of the electronic ticket who register both entry and exit pay promotional prices: PLN 3.70 for a single ride in zone 0, PLN 4.50 to zone 1 and PLN 5.60 to zone 2. A transfer onto the next bus within 30 minutes costs PLN 1.50 as long as the journey ends in zone 0, and a short ride of up to two stops costs PLN 1.40.

Tickets from the driver
You can buy some tickets from the driver while the bus is stopped, with exact cash only:
- One-day ticket for zone 0, valid 24 hours from purchase: PLN 15.00
- Family day ticket, valid on Saturdays and public holidays: PLN 17.00. It covers up to five people, at most two adults with school-age children, with unlimited rides in zone 0.
- 60-minute transfer ticket: PLN 7.00
- Four-hour ticket: PLN 12.60

- 7 days: PLN 41
- Month, normal: PLN 120
- Month, bearer: PLN 190
- Month with the Nowosądecka Family Card: PLN 94

- Senior ticket: PLN 75 for half a year, PLN 110 for a year
