Oświęcim, a town in Lesser Poland on the Soła river, has buses run by MZK Oświęcim across the town and the surrounding communes. The prices below come from the MZK price list, in force since 1 April 2023 under city council resolution LVIII/934/23, checked on 20 October 2026. Only MZK Oświęcim tickets are valid on these lines.
Single tickets
Prices depend on how many communes the ride crosses:
- One commune: PLN 4.00 normal, PLN 2.50 reduced for pupils, PLN 2.00 with a statutory 50% reduction such as a student card
- Two neighbouring communes: PLN 4.60 / 3.00 / 2.30
- Three communes: PLN 5.80 / 3.60 / 2.90
- Four communes: PLN 7.00 / 4.40 / 3.50
A time ticket valid 60 minutes from validation costs PLN 5.20, a 120-minute ticket PLN 8.00, and a calendar-day ticket PLN 14.60, all with reduced versions. Transfer tickets, with the second validation within 40 to 60 minutes depending on the distance, cost from PLN 6.00 to PLN 8.00 and are not sold by the driver.
Period tickets
A 7-day ticket for one commune costs PLN 38.00 normal, and a 7-day ticket for all city and suburban lines costs PLN 66.80.
Monthly tickets:
- One commune: PLN 120.00 normal, PLN 60.70 reduced for pupils, PLN 60.00 statutory
- Two communes: PLN 137.80
- Three communes: PLN 159.20
- Four communes: PLN 170.20
- All city and suburban lines: PLN 187.00
A one-way monthly ticket costs 50% of the relevant monthly price. Reduced period tickets are available to kindergarten children and pupils of primary, secondary and post-secondary schools.

Park and Ride and other charges
A Park and Ride day ticket valid on all lines costs PLN 9.00 and is sold only through the parking system. Carrying baggage or a dog costs the same as a single person ticket for the line.
Which ticket to choose
For rides inside Oświęcim itself, the PLN 4.00 single or the PLN 120 monthly are the two fares that matter; the monthly pays off after 30 rides. Commuters from neighbouring communes should count the communes on their route first, since the price steps up per commune. If you drive to the edge of town, the PLN 9.00 Park and Ride day ticket undercuts the PLN 14.60 day ticket.
