Puławy Public Transport 2026: MZK Tickets PLN 4.60, Monthly PLN 120

Puławy, the Lublin region town on the Vistula known for the Czartoryski palace, has city and suburban buses run by MZK Puławy. The tariff covers one city zone and three suburban zones, and the lines also reach neighbouring communes such as Końskowola, Kurów, Żyrzyn, Janowiec, Kazimierz Dolny and Ryki, according to the discount rules on the MZK site. The price list below comes from the official MZK page (the matching file is dated 1 May 2025) and was checked on 20 October 2026.
How the zones work
There are six price columns: the city zone, three mixed city-suburban zones (I, II and III), and two suburban columns. A suburban ticket within zones I, II or III, or between neighbouring zones I and II or II and III, has one price, and a ride between zones I and III costs the same as city-suburban zone II. A single ticket is also a time ticket: its validity grows with the number of zones, from 30 minutes in the city zone to 75 minutes in city-suburban zone III.
Single tickets
For a paper ticket from a sales point, or an electronic ticket bought in the mobile app or paid by bank card:
- City zone, valid 30 minutes: PLN 4.60 normal, PLN 2.30 reduced
- City plus suburban zone I, 45 minutes: PLN 5.20 normal, PLN 2.60 reduced
- City plus suburban zone II, 60 minutes: PLN 5.80 normal, PLN 2.90 reduced
- City plus suburban zone III, 75 minutes: PLN 7.00 normal, PLN 3.50 reduced
A paper ticket bought from the driver costs more and is valid five minutes longer: PLN 5.00 normal and PLN 2.50 reduced in the city zone (35 minutes), up to PLN 7.40 and PLN 3.70 for city plus suburban zone III (80 minutes).
The app "EMKA" also offers a promotional electronic ticket for PLN 1.50 for one ride to the next stop, only in the city zone, for normal and reduced passengers.

Monthly tickets
Named monthly electronic tickets for all lines, on the e-card in the EMKA app:
- City zone: PLN 120 normal, PLN 60 reduced
- City plus suburban zone I: PLN 136 normal, PLN 68 reduced
- City plus suburban zone II: PLN 150 normal, PLN 75 reduced
- City plus suburban zone III: PLN 186 normal, PLN 93 reduced
A two-month named ticket for the city zone costs PLN 220 normal and PLN 110 reduced, which is PLN 20 less than two monthly tickets. Bearer monthly tickets, which anyone can use, cost PLN 160 in the city zone, PLN 180 with zone I, PLN 200 with zone II and PLN 250 with zone III.
Luggage and animals
The price of a single ticket is charged for carrying luggage or animals, except hand luggage up to 60 x 40 x 20 cm (a small excess of up to 10% is tolerated), luggage whose three dimensions add up to no more than 120 cm, a pram with a child, and a wheelchair used by a disabled passenger. Small animals held in the arms ride free.
Ticket office
The ticket office is open on working days from 8:00 to 14:00, and from 8:00 to 16:00 on the first working day and the last two working days of the month.
