Słupsk public transport 2026: Go Zim tariff, Fala, fines
Short answer: Słupsk's Go Zim tariff started on 7 September 2026 with day, weekend (15-17 zl) and family tickets on Fala. Travel without a ticket costs 550 zl, or 275 zl if paid in 7 days.

Słupsk, a city in northern Poland, changed its city bus tariff on 7 September 2026. The new system is called "Go Zim Słupsk" and it runs on Fala, the electronic ticket platform used across the Pomorskie region. This guide uses Radioplus (4 September 2026), the ticket control page of the city's transport unit ZIM Słupsk (undated, read 19 October 2026), the ZIM page on how Fala works (27 June 2025) and the Słupsk Residents' Card page (undated). One thing to know first: ZIM's price list page still showed the 2024 price list when we read it, so we cannot confirm every price in the new tariff.
What the new tariff changes
According to Radioplus, the changes are not price rises. The city introduces new ticket types, such as a day ticket, a weekend ticket and a family ticket, and the final price depends on whether you hold the Słupsk Residents' Card (Słupska Karta Mieszkańca). The ticket types it names:
- Day ticket: the maximum charge is 10 zloty.
- Single ticket: validity extended from 60 to 80 minutes.
- Weekend ticket "Go Zim Słupsk": from Friday 17:00 to Sunday 23:00, 15 zloty with the Residents' Card or 17 zloty for others.
- Family ticket "Go Family": 17 zloty for a resident.
All options are available in the Fala system, in Falomat ticket machines and in common mobile apps. The city says that in time the passenger will tell the system how they want to travel, and the system will pick the cheapest option.

How Fala works
ZIM explains that Fala is a tool for planning trips and paying for public transport across the Pomorskie region. It covers city transport organised by Słupsk, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Władysławowo, Chojnice, Lębork, Puck and Wejherowo, plus regional and agglomeration trains and SKM. An account is useful but not required to use the machines and readers. You can also pay with a payment card.
In a bus you will see a Falomat, a larger machine with a touch screen, and smaller readers near the doors. According to ZIM, tickets bought there are electronic and tied to your Fala account or to the card used to buy them. No paper ticket is printed. At a ticket check you show the same card or app that you used to buy the ticket. The same page says the controller's device does not take data from your card.
The Residents' Card
The city says the Słupsk Residents' Card gives cheaper tickets bought in electronic channels. You can get it if you live in the city and your PIT return for the previous year shows a Słupsk address, even with no income, or if you are a family member living with such a person, or receive help from the city's social assistance centre. The page does not say whether foreigners can get it, and we did not verify it.
Ticket checks and fines
ZIM's control page says the amounts below apply with the new tariff:
- 550 zloty for travelling without a valid ticket or the document that proves a discount or free ride;
- 275 zloty if the 550 zloty fee is paid within 7 days (a reduction of 50 percent);
- 27.50 zloty administrative fee if you later show a valid document for a right you held during the check.
Buying or validating a ticket after the check has started does not remove the fee. Controllers must wear a visible badge with a service number and photo. Complaints about a payment demand go first to the controllers' company, RWR Sp. z o.o.
What the sources do not say
We did not find the full price list for the new tariff on an official page. The ZIM price list we saw was dated 9 September 2024 and gave 4 zloty for a normal single ticket, 104 zloty for a normal monthly named pass and 365 zloty for a resident's annual pass in Fala. Those numbers may be out of date. An older Residents' Card page also says a single ticket is valid for 1 hour from 1 July, while Radioplus says 80 minutes from 7 September, so check the validity time in the app before you rely on it.
