Stargard, one of the largest towns in West Pomerania, has a city bus network run by MPK Stargard, with fares set in three zones: A (the town itself), B and C. The prices below come from the MPK price list, checked on 20 October 2026. The city also publishes a separate price list for the gmina bus lines, in force since 1 January 2026.

Single tickets

A single ticket in zone A costs PLN 3.20 normal and PLN 1.60 reduced. It allows transfers, as long as each change happens within 30 minutes of validation, or without a time limit until the last stop of the bus where the ticket was validated.

For rides between zones:

  • Zone A to B or C, or within B and C: PLN 4.80 normal, PLN 2.40 reduced
  • Across all three zones A, B and C: PLN 5.60 normal, PLN 2.80 reduced

Regular riders in zone A can buy a 10-ride carnet for PLN 32.00 normal or PLN 16.00 reduced, with the same 30-minute transfer rule. A 24-hour ticket for all zone A lines costs PLN 12.00 normal and PLN 6.00 reduced. School groups have dedicated day tickets: PLN 30 for up to 10 pupils with one carer in zone A, and PLN 60 for up to 25 pupils with one or two carers. A weekend family ticket costs PLN 11.00.

Which ticket to choose

The zone A monthly ticket at PLN 100 pays off after about 31 rides, roughly one return trip per working day. If you commute from the suburban communes, count the zones your route crosses before choosing between the PLN 132 two-zone and PLN 158 three-zone versions. The Resident Card halves the zone A prices, so it is worth arranging soon after registering in Stargard.
