Every year around 1 November, Szczecin changes its public transport and road layout near the cemeteries. This page summarises two official notices from the city transport authority ZDiTM Szczecin: the passenger notice published on 15 October 2026 and the driver notice published on 14 October 2026. Both were checked on 19 October 2026. Check the ZDiTM site again before you travel, because details can change.

Timetables, 24 October to 2 November

ZDiTM says the changes run from 24 October to 2 November because of heavier traffic towards the cemeteries. Its notice also lists many individual bus lines with their own special timetables and extra lines; the notice lists them by line number, and this page does not repeat them. Use the ZDiTM notice for your own line. The general changes, which apply to the whole network, are:

  • Saturday 24 October: Saturday timetables on all lines.
  • Sunday 25 October: holiday timetables on all lines except line 10, which runs to a special timetable at the usual frequency. An extra line D15 (Gumieńce to Dworzec Niebuszewo) runs 9:00 to 18:00 every 20 minutes.
  • 28 to 30 October (Wednesday to Friday): school-day weekday timetables, except line 10, which has a special timetable. An extra line D10 (Gumieńce to Plac Rodła) runs 9:00 to 13:00 every 15 minutes.
  • Saturday 31 October: Saturday timetables, except lines 8 and 10 with special timetables. Extra line D15 runs every 20 minutes from 8:00 to 9:30, every 15 minutes from 9:30 to 17:00, and every 20 minutes from 17:00 to 18:30.
  • Sunday 1 November: Saturday timetables, except line 8 and line 10, which have special timetables (line 10 runs every 6 or 9 minutes from 9:00 to 18:00). Extra line D8 (Gumieńce to SKM Dworzec Główny) runs 9:00 to 18:00 every 15 minutes. Extra line D15 runs every 20 minutes from 7:00 to 9:00, every 15 minutes from 9:00 to 18:00 and every 20 minutes from 18:00 to 19:30.
  • Monday 2 November: school-day weekday timetables, with line 10 on a special timetable and extra line D10 from 9:00 to 13:00 every 15 minutes.

Traffic around the cemeteries

The driver notice says heavy traffic is expected for several days before 1 November. Around the Central Cemetery (Cmentarz Centralny) the temporary traffic plan comes in stages:

  • Stage I, from 24 October at 6:00: one-way traffic on ul. Karola Miarki and ul. Piękna until 1 November. Tram track crossings near the main gate on ul. Ku Słońcu and at the junction with ul. Karola Miarki are closed.
  • Stage II, from 29 October at 5:00: stalls open on parts of ul. Ku Słońcu. Trading is on the pedestrian way, so the bicycle path is closed. Vehicle traffic stays on two lanes, especially at rush hours.
  • Stage III, from 1 November at 6:00: both carriageways of ul. Ku Słońcu are closed to general traffic from Gierosa roundabout to Pileckiego roundabout. Ul. Karola Miarki, ul. Piękna and ul. Santocka are closed to general traffic. The notice gives a detour via ul. Derdowskiego, 26 Kwietnia and Krzywoustego to Piastów. Normal traffic returns at 22:00, or earlier at the request of the Police.

At the Dąbie and Zdroje cemeteries the changes run from 31 October at 6:00 to 1 November at 18:00. In Dąbie, ul. Goleniowska has a 40 km/h limit and parts of ul. Jugosłowiańska and ul. Czarnogórska are one-way. In Zdroje, ul. Poległych is closed to general traffic from ul. Walecznych, and pedestrians are directed to signalled crossings.

ZDiTM asks visitors to wear reflective elements and take torches, because of the evening crowds.
