Historic tram line 5 in Szczecin

Szczecin's buses and trams are run by ZDiTM, the city's roads and public transport authority. Its tariff is time based: you buy a ticket for 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, or a pass for a day or longer. This guide lists the prices shown on the ZDiTM ticket pages, the ways to pay and the main passes. The pages show no update date, and the city council resolutions listed there run up to 29 October 2024, so confirm prices at a ticket office, machine or in the app before you travel. The pages cover tickets for the city lines only. The metropolitan ticket has its own ZDiTM page, which this article does not cover.

Single time tickets

ZDiTM sells time tickets that are valid from the moment you validate them and allow transfers. Prices on ordinary day and night lines, excluding tourist lines:

  • 15 minutes: 3.00 zł (reduced 1.50 zł);
  • 30 minutes: 4.00 zł (reduced 2.00 zł);
  • 60 minutes: 6.00 zł (reduced 3.00 zł);
  • 120 minutes: 7.00 zł (reduced 3.50 zł).

Fast lines (linie pospieszne) cost double: 6.00 zł for 15 minutes, 8.00 zł for 30 minutes and 12.00 zł for 60 minutes, with reduced prices of 3.00, 4.00 and 6.00 zł. The tariff page does not say who qualifies for the reduced fare in the sections we read. Check the council resolution listed on the ZDiTM page or ask a ticket office before you buy a reduced ticket.

Ten-ride booklets

A booklet of ten tickets is sold at the price of nine (9 plus 1 free). For ordinary lines the price is 27.00 zł for the 15-minute type, 36.00 zł for 30 minutes and 54.00 zł for 60 minutes. Reduced booklets cost half. Fast-line booklets are 54.00, 72.00 and 108.00 zł.

Day and multi-day tickets

These are network tickets for the bearer, valid on all lines except tourist lines:

  • 24 hours: 15.00 zł (reduced 7.50 zł);
  • 120 hours (5 days): 46.00 zł (reduced 23.00 zł);
  • 240 hours (10 days): 75.00 zł (reduced 37.50 zł).

ZDiTM also sells a weekend family ticket for 21.00 zł. It is valid on all day lines except tourist lines on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, for one or both parents or a legal guardian with at least one child under 16.

Group tickets valid for one hour on all lines except tourist ones cost 26.00 zł for up to 15 people plus one carer and 37.00 zł for up to 25 people plus two carers. They are for groups entitled to the reduction and their carers.

In summer, tourist lines 0, 50 and 100 run with their own tickets: 5.00 zł normal and 3.70 zł reduced.

Monthly and longer passes

According to the ZDiTM periodic tickets page, there are named tickets and bearer tickets. Monthly prices, normal and reduced:

  • named ticket for one ordinary day line: 80 zł and 40 zł;
  • named network ticket for ordinary day and night lines: 100 zł and 50 zł;
  • named ticket for one fast line: 90 zł and 45 zł;
  • named network ticket for all lines except tourist ones: 140 zł and 70 zł;
  • network ticket for the bearer on all lines except tourist ones: 150 zł (no reduced version).

Three-month named tickets cost 220 zł, 278 zł, 248 zł and 400 zł for the same four types, with reduced prices of 110, 139, 124 and 200 zł.

Semester tickets for eligible pupils and students are sold for four or five months. The network ticket for ordinary day and night lines is 180 zł for four months and 210 zł for five. From 1 May 2025 these are issued only on the Szczecin Agglomeration Card (SKA) or as an electronic ticket bought on a phone.

Other passes on the page include a senior ticket for people aged 67 to 70 (60 zł for six months or 105 zł for twelve) and a ticket for unemployed people with unemployed status, valid on ordinary day lines Monday to Saturday for one month at 65 zł.

How to buy and validate

ZDiTM says paper tickets are sold at its ticket offices, mobile and stationary ticket machines and private points. Electronic tickets can be bought in the apps Mobilna Karta Miejska, moBiLET, SkyCash, zbiletem and Jakdojade. You can also pay from an e-wallet on the SKA card in the on-board electronic validators.

For a phone ticket, ZDiTM says you can buy ahead, but you must activate it once you board. Open the ticket and type in the vehicle number or scan the QR code on the stickers in the vehicle. A ticket activated earlier and still within its validity stays valid in the next vehicle without activating again.

Tips for new residents

  • If you use the bus or tram most days, compare the 30-day network pass with the day tickets before you buy.
  • Make sure the pass covers the type of line you ride. A pass for one ordinary line is not a network pass.
  • Keep your phone charged. An unactivated phone ticket is not valid.
  • If you are unsure whether you qualify for a reduced fare, ask a ticket office and keep the proof.

All prices above were read on the ZDiTM site on 16 October 2026 and can change by council resolution.
