Around All Saints' Day (1 November) and All Souls' Day (2 November), millions of people in Poland visit family graves, and cemeteries become some of the busiest places in the city. Warsaw's public transport operator publishes special timetables to cope with the crowds. This guide summarises the plan announced by Warszawski Transport Publiczny (WTP) on 14 October 2026 for the period from 17 to 30 October, so that you know which lines to use and when. The schedule for 31 October to 2 November was not yet in the announcement when we checked on 16 October 2026, so look for WTP's later notice before you travel on those days.

Weekend 17-18 October

The first changes focus on Cmentarz Północny (Northern Cemetery), the largest cemetery in the capital. On Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 and 17:00, buses on line 250 stop at the western gate as well as the main and southern gates. Extra runs between Metro Młociny and the main gate mean buses on that section come every 15 minutes in those hours.

Other changes that weekend:

  • Line 409 runs from the Bródno-Podgrodzie loop to the western gate of Cmentarz Północny on a special timetable. Its route in Bródno changes so it stops at the gate of Cmentarz Bródnowski on Chodecka street.
  • Line 500 runs more often than usual, on a special timetable.
  • On the route of line 212 the stop Balkonowa is renamed Cm. Bródnowski (Balkonowa), and buses stop there without a signal from passengers.
  • Larger vehicles serve lines 169 and 181.

Weekdays 19-23 October

Some changes stay in the working week. Between 9:00 and 17:00 line 250 keeps the western-gate stop and the 15-minute service from Metro Młociny. Line 212 keeps its permanent stop at Cm. Bródnowski, and larger buses serve lines 169, 181 and 303.
