Zakopane, the main base for the Tatra Mountains, has city buses run by the municipal company TESKO, and some other lines served by private carriers. The official tariff changed on 1 April 2025 under city council resolution XIII/131/2025 of 27 February 2025. The prices below come from the practical information page on zakopane.pl, checked on 20 October 2026.

Basic tickets

  • Single ticket: PLN 6.00 normal, PLN 3.00 reduced (50%)
  • 60-minute transfer ticket, valid on all lines: PLN 8.00 normal, PLN 4.00 reduced
  • 24-hour ticket, all lines: PLN 12.00 normal, PLN 6.00 reduced

The single ticket is dear compared with most Polish cities, so a visitor planning more than two rides in a day should buy the 24-hour ticket. It costs the price of two single tickets.

Multi-day tickets for visitors

  • 3-day ticket, all lines (valid until 23:59 on the third day after validation): PLN 22 normal, PLN 11 reduced
  • 7-day ticket, all lines (valid until 23:59 on the seventh day): PLN 40 normal, PLN 20 reduced
  • Named monthly ticket, one line: PLN 100 normal, PLN 50 reduced
  • Named monthly ticket, all lines: PLN 120 normal, PLN 60 reduced

Family tickets

Family tickets cover two parents and up to five children aged up to 15:

  • 24-hour: PLN 25
  • 3-day: PLN 50
  • 7-day: PLN 95

A family 24-hour ticket costs about as much as two normal 24-hour tickets, so it is the cheaper choice for a larger family.
