Can You Buy on Allegro and Ship to Canada, the UK or the USA?
The essentials: No - not through Allegro's own courier programs, which cover 24 EU countries (all except Cyprus and Malta) and only when the seller enables it. UK, Canadian and US buyers need a seller who ships privately or a parcel forwarder with a Polish address, plus customs charges on arrival.

You found it on Allegro - the part, the book, the Polish-made thing that costs triple abroad - and now you want it delivered to Toronto, London or Chicago. Here is the honest picture, verified against Allegro's own help pages on 21 October 2026: Allegro's built-in international delivery covers the European Union only. Canada, the UK and the USA are not on the list. That is not the end of the road, but the detours have rules, costs and customs paperwork you should understand before you click "buy now".
What Allegro's official international delivery covers
Allegro operates its own cross-border courier options - Allegro Kurier DPD and Allegro Kurier DHL - but strictly within the European Union. According to the buyer help page, you can use international courier delivery if you live in one of 24 EU member states (all except Cyprus and Malta) and the seller offers that delivery option in their listing. Both conditions matter: the seller chooses which countries to enable, so the same item may be shippable to Germany but not to Ireland.
Finding out takes seconds. On the offer page, open the "Dostawa i platnosc" (delivery and payment) section and pick your country; available methods and prices appear. You can also filter search results by international delivery options, which saves you from falling in love with offers that will never leave Poland.
Prices are capped by destination. Sellers can charge at most 23.99 zl for courier delivery to Lithuania, 24.99 zl to Slovakia, 26.99 zl to Czechia, 32.99 zl to Germany and 39.99 zl to the Netherlands, with an estimated transit time of two working days for those destinations. Rates for other EU countries appear in the same table on the help page. Compared with what private international shipping would cost, these are genuinely cheap rates - which is exactly why the geographic limit stings.

How to check a specific offer before you commit
The fastest pre-purchase check has three steps. First, use the delivery filter in search results so you only see offers with international shipping to your country - this single filter prevents most disappointment. Second, on the offer page, expand "Dostawa i platnosc", select your country from the list, and read the exact courier options and prices the seller has configured; the caps in Allegro's table are maximums, and many sellers charge less. Third, if your country does not appear, use the question option on the listing to ask the seller directly whether they will ship to you. Sellers who export regularly say so quickly; sellers who do not will usually tell you that just as fast, which is also an answer.
Watch one subtlety when comparing prices: the delivery price on the offer page is for that seller's configured methods, while the maximums in Allegro's help table describe what any seller is allowed to charge. If a listing shows a number above the cap for your country, something is misconfigured and it is worth asking before paying.
Why the UK, Canada and the USA are excluded
The United Kingdom left the European Union, and Allegro's courier programs never extended to North America. As of 21 October 2026, no Allegro-managed delivery method lists the UK, Canada or the USA as a destination. If the country picker on an offer does not show your country, Allegro will not deliver that order there - full stop. No support ticket changes this, because the limitation is in the shipping programs, not in your account.
There is one partial exception: individual sellers can, in principle, arrange their own shipping anywhere in the world. Some do - typically specialist exporters of car parts, militaria, books or Polish design. Their delivery terms appear in the offer's delivery section, and you can message the seller before buying to ask. But this is the seller's private arrangement, outside Allegro's courier programs, with prices and transit times the seller sets.
Paying from abroad works fine
The good news is that money is not the obstacle. Allegro accepts payment cards in the delivery-and-payment form, with the option to save a card for future purchases, and your bank may apply the usual 3D Secure verification by SMS or banking app. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported payment methods. A foreign-issued card works the same way as a Polish one for a standard purchase; the currency is always Polish zloty, and your bank applies its own exchange rate.

The parcel-forwarding route
For buyers outside the EU, the standard workaround is a parcel forwarding service: a company gives you a Polish warehouse address, your Allegro order arrives there as a domestic delivery, and the forwarder ships it on to you internationally. Allegro itself does not run or endorse a forwarding service, so this is a private arrangement between you and the forwarder.
Before using one, understand the shape of the costs. You pay the Polish domestic delivery (often a few zloty to a locker, or free with a seller's promotion), then the forwarder's international rate, which for a small parcel to North America or the UK typically exceeds the price of many items. Consolidating several purchases into one outbound shipment improves the arithmetic considerably, and most forwarders offer exactly that. Check the forwarder's prohibited-items list first - cosmetics, batteries and food products are frequent surprises.

Customs: the part nobody can waive
Anything leaving the EU for the UK, Canada or the USA crosses a customs border, and the receiver bears the consequences. Import duties, taxes and handling fees depend on the destination country, the declared value and the type of goods; the courier or postal operator collects them from you before or on delivery. A bargain can stop being one at the border, so check your own customs authority's current rules and de-minimis thresholds before ordering - they change, and they differ per country. As of October 2026 there is no arrangement through Allegro that pre-pays or avoids these charges for non-EU destinations.
Two habits save real pain: keep the invoice or order confirmation for the customs declaration, and be honest about the value. An undervalued declaration can mean a seized parcel, which is a worse outcome than paying the duty.
If you are inside the EU: the five-minute version
For readers in Czechia, Germany, Ireland or any other covered EU country, buying on Allegro with delivery to your home is routine:
1. Create an account at allegro.pl - registration needs an email address, not a Polish one. 2. Search, then filter results by international delivery to your country. 3. On the offer page, pick your country under "Dostawa i platnosc" and check the courier price. 4. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in zloty; expect 3D Secure. 5. Track the parcel in your purchase list; couriers deliver in about two working days to the cheapest destinations.
Buyer Protection applies to these orders as well: problems can be reported for up to two years after purchase, and Allegro can refund you even if the seller rejects your complaint.

What about allegro.cz, allegro.sk and allegro.hu?
The Allegro Group runs local marketplaces in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. They are separate services with their own accounts, listings and delivery networks, aimed at their local markets. For a buyer in Prague or Bratislava they are often the smoother option; for a buyer in London or Toronto they change nothing, because their delivery footprint is likewise regional. Your allegro.pl account does not transfer orders between the sites.

Frequently asked questions
Can I register on Allegro from outside Poland?
Yes. An Allegro account needs an email address, and you can register from abroad. What limits you is not the account but the delivery: the methods shown at checkout depend on the delivery address you enter and on which destinations the seller has enabled. You can pay with a foreign-issued card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in Polish zloty.
Does Allegro ship to the UK?
Not through its own courier programs. As of 21 October 2026, Allegro's international delivery covers 24 EU member states (all except Cyprus and Malta), and the post-Brexit UK is not included. Your options are a seller who privately ships to the UK, or a parcel forwarding service with a Polish address - and UK import charges apply on arrival in both cases.
Is parcel forwarding to Canada or the USA worth it?
It depends on the item. Forwarding adds an international shipping fee plus possible import duties and taxes at the border, collected from you on delivery. For rare, high-value or Poland-exclusive goods it often still wins; for ordinary items available locally it rarely does. Consolidating several Allegro purchases into one forwarded shipment is the standard way to make the numbers work.
